Update: April 2019 playback timeline issues
April 2019: little things keep breaking. This time it’s the playback slide controls that allow you to position the playback point at different points within the recording. Right now the time is off and the playback point isn’t within a highlighted recording area.
Previous review: I like the new version of this app. For me, it is faster and a lot easier to navigate. It also detects the difference between remote and local network access.
There are a few features that went away when they rewrote the app. I hope they keep working on them and bring them back over time. The ones I miss the most are the ability to adjust settings like the alarm schedule and the trigger area and sensitivity.
Protecting your home ..
I love that I can watch my moms house while she at work, we also got some guy that flew off his motorcycle and went sliding down the street well first his bike 🏍 then he went sliding to which was kind of scary to watch because he didn’t have a helmet on but he just go to and dusted his self off, for up and took off .. but the camera was vivid and got good film and pretty clear. I haven’t had to report anything bad so far keeping my fingers crossed 🤞 but yea love to rewind and see what’s going on also I think that people see the camera that are visible and don’t want to try anything, I hope.. thank you for your system and homeowner are able to protect there homes .. awesome work..
Hit or miss
I can never depend on this program loading when I’m away from home. How can you reliably depend on a camera and software system that gives “network error” messages all the time. Very frustrating! This continues to happen despite my attempt to deal deal with the company and my cable supplier. I have another system on my home in Florida that performs flawlessly and costs less.
Update - after working with Comcast to maintain my Internet address the system has been working fairly well.
