Hi there. I got a problem with my Thinkpad.
It gives me these annoying (beeping) error messages for missing Serial Numbers (UUID) on the motherboard and I cannot figure out how to get rid of them.
Q see software download. It does not affect the performance of the system but is still a pain in the booty.
I figured out that one can insert a new serial number by using the Lenovo Hardware Maintenance Disk but the problem is that I do not have a Floppy Drive.
Is there a way to create a USB drive to boot with the HMD? So far I was able to get a HMD file version 1.72.
Unfortunately, I cannot find the solution in this link.
Any help is appreciated.
